UB markets itself as having some of the strongest merit awards in the SUNY system — many first-year awards are automatic with the admissions app.
Pride of New York Scholarship: high-achieving NYS first-years; often helps non-tuition costs; no separate app historically.
Presidential Scholarship: selective; separate path through University Honors College — watch invitations and deadlines.
After you have a UBIT account, complete the UB Scholarship Portal (AcademicWorks) general app every year.
SEAS administers engineering scholarships through that portal — still apply even if BME department lists few direct undergrad awards.
